Alex is a seasoned leader in hospitality, overseeing Foundry Investments’ portfolio. With over 20 years of global experience, Alex leads FI’s projects in the UAE and Eastern Europe.
Before founding FI, Alex served as Development Director for Altamarea New York’s subsidiary in Dubai, managing operations in UAE and India and driving brand development. Previously, as Managing Director at a leading hospitality group, he oversaw various properties across the GCC achieving record profitability and elevating standards.
An expert in management, brand development, and operational leadership, Alex has conceptualized and launched innovative brands, redefined business models, and overseen Michelin-starred dining concepts. A graduate of SNSPA Bucharest he speaks three languages and brings a global perspective to his work.

Andreea is an experienced Audit Project Manager, her last 4-year tenure being with the Deloitte Bucharest office. She has more than 6 years practice working within External Audit, in industries such as: Hospitality, Real Estate, Retail, Manufacturing and Energy.
Andreea has the ability to process and analyze financial information, build a commercial understanding on different businesses, industries, risks and opportunities. She is experienced in reporting to senior teams on business performance, conclusions and making solid financial recommendations.

Stefan currently handles our construction projects in both Dubai and Eastern Europe. He is very well versed in construction, fit-out, installations and sourcing the best available contractor. He has built a reputation of executing highly qualitative projects with minimal cost and maximizing design.
Stefan has been successfully delivering apartment buildings, houses, pop ups and light structure buildings for the past 6 years.
